AI strategy call.

No slides, no sales deck. A plain-English conversation about whether AI can do anything useful for your business. Often, the more useful answer is where it can’t.

What happens on the call

Here’s how the half hour goes.

01

Where you actually are

A quick read on your operation, your team, and what you’ve already tried. We’re looking for context, not a vendor briefing.

02

Where AI fits — and doesn’t

Two or three places it could actually help, and the longer list of places it won’t. The “won’t” list is usually more useful.

03

What it would cost

Ballpark numbers and timelines for the bits that fit. Enough to decide whether to keep talking, or take the brief elsewhere.

What “getting it right” looks like.

For a business this size, this is exactly how a transformation should be done. A textbook example of getting it right.

Where we work

Australian SMEs in the sectors AI gets wrong most often.

Disability & Community Education Government Not-for-Profit

Tracy ran an enterprise HRIS rollout for 5,500 people and Australia’s first community-owned wind farm. Dennis was the principal data analyst behind Victoria’s COVID linkage response. We come from these sectors, not from a consulting firm — we know what “compliance” actually looks like at the coalface, not at the conference.

FAQ

Before you book.

Is it really free? What’s the catch?

Really free. No card, no obligation. If we can’t help, we’ll say so — and usually point you to someone who can. About one in three of these calls turn into work later. That’s enough.

Who’s on the call?

Tracy by default — she runs every first call personally. Dennis joins from the second call onwards if the work involves systems integration or anything technical.

What should I prepare?

Nothing. A rough sense of what’s painful, slow, or expensive in your business is enough. We’ll do the structuring on the call.

What happens after the 30 minutes?

You get a short written recap with two or three concrete next steps. Whether you do them with us, with someone else, or in-house is entirely up to you.
